
Smiles, Gratitude as Ojo Local Government Concludes Three-Day ‘PBAT FEEDS!’ School Nutrition Programme
The three-day “Adopt a School “Snacks for Thought “– PBAT FEEDS!” pilot programme came to a successful conclusion on Thursday as the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Muhibat Titilola Rufai, continued her commitment to ensuring that every participating pupil benefited from the initiative.
On the final day of the exercise, over 500 nutritious snack packs were distributed to pupils in selected public primary schools across the Local Government. The Executive Chairman personally monitored the distribution process, moving through the school premises to ensure that every child received a snack package.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the pupils expressed their appreciation for the initiative, thanking President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for introducing a programme that supports their health and learning.
Speaking after the distribution, Hon. Rufai reaffirmed that investing in children remains one of the surest ways of securing a brighter future for the nation. She noted that the initiative is designed to improve pupils’ nutrition, encourage regular school attendance, and create a more conducive environment for effective learning.
She commended teachers, school administrators, parents, and all stakeholders who contributed to the success of the three-day pilot exercise, describing their cooperation as vital to the programme’s smooth implementation.
The successful completion of the initiative demonstrates Ojo Local Government’s commitment to programmes that directly improve the lives of children while supporting the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda on education, nutrition, and human capital development.
