
*DAY 2: FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR OJO RESIDENTS TO MARK 100 DAYS IN OFFICE*
As part of activities commemorating her first 100 days in office, the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government today conducted a free medical outreach for residents of the council area.
The programme was officially flagged off by the Executive Chairman, who personally underwent a vital signs check, underscoring her commitment to health awareness and preventive healthcare among residents.
The outreach fulfilled a key promise made during her electioneering campaign to improve access to quality healthcare services for the people of Ojo. The initiative provided residents with free medical services, including general medical consultations, blood sugar tests, prostate screening, fasting and random blood glucose tests, hepatitis screening, HIV screening, eye examinations, and the distribution of free eyeglasses. Beneficiaries also received free medical consultations and prescribed drugs at no cost.
The medical outreach, held within the Ojo Local Government Council premises, recorded an impressive turnout, with over 1,000 residents benefiting from the programme. Pregnant women were also included in the exercise, and foodstuffs were distributed to support their nutritional needs.
The successful Day 2 medical outreach reflects the Executive Chairman’s unwavering dedication to the welfare and well-being of Ojo residents. By delivering on her campaign promises within her first 100 days in office, she has reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to people-centered governance, improved healthcare delivery, and sustainable community development.
