Ojo Local Government Executive Chairman Distributes Free GCE Forms to Indigent Students

In a bold step toward promoting inclusive and accessible education, the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. Princess Muhibat Titilola Rufai, officially flagged off the distribution of free GCE forms to indigent students across the council’s five political wards. The event took place at the Ojo Local Government Secretariat.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Princess Muhibat reiterated her administration’s commitment to education, stating:
“Our administration believes that no child in Ojo Local Government should be denied access to quality education.”
The Chairman emphasized that the distribution was not just a one-off gesture, but part of a broader strategic investment in the future of Ojo’s youths.
“This initiative is a fulfillment of our campaign promises and a clear demonstration of our belief in the immense potential of our young people,” she added.
The beneficiaries, selected from across the wards, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity. One of the students, Dauda Abdulrahmon O., speaking on behalf of the recipients and their parents, thanked the Chairman for her unwavering commitment to educational empowerment.
Another student, Miss Blessing, also appreciated the gesture and appealed for the provision of free tutorial lessonsto aid their preparation and success in the forthcoming examinations.
The event witnessed the attendance of key stakeholders including the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Emerem Chimezie; Apex Leader of the House, Hon. Councilor Ramon Teslim; members of the Council’s management team led by the Director of Budget and Statistics Planning; media representatives; and all the GCE form beneficiaries.
This initiative marks the beginning of the Chairman’s educational support
programs aimed at lifting barriers to academic success for children in Ojo Local Government.
